| Frigiliana
is a small pueblo blanco (white washed mountain village) in the Sierra
Almijara mountain range with a population of around 2,500 people. It remains
very typical and certainly not a high rise tourist hot spot.
The people are friendly, welcoming and incredibly hospitable.
Little is known about the history of Frigiliana from
the arrival of the Arabs in 711 A. D. until the late ninth century, during
the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, it formed part of the Nazarite
Kingdom. The village surrendered to the Christians in 1485
The village is a delight to stay in there's a huge range of bars and restaurants
