SUPERMARKETS & SHOPPING
Frigiliana is well served by a number of local village stores selling everyday basics, including fresh bread, vegetables, fruit and cold meats. The village also has its own butchers located in Calle San Sebastian and on a Saturday morning in Calle Real you’ll also find fishmongers but to buy the fresh fish you need to be early no later than 8.30am! And remember village shops close for siesta at 1.30pm and reopen at 5pm.
Supermarkets
There are 6 supermarkets in Nerja providing both Spanish and English foodstuffs. For fresh meat Supersol is the better choice and for fish Mercadona. The supermarkets open generally from 9.30 am until 8pm. In the summer months of July and August the supermarkets open also Sunday morning until 1.30pm.
SUPERSOL, Verano Azul
Follow the road from Frigiliana across the motorway, after three roundabouts the road naturally turns left onto a cobbled bridge. Immediately after the bridge Supersol is on your right. (car park entrance is before the supermarket, turn right and park underneath)
SUPERSOL, Nerja
At the 3rd roundabout, turn left, go through the next roundabout (at the bus station) Supersol is on your right, opposite the BP garage.
MERCADONA, Nerja
At the 3rd roundabout, turn left, before the next roundabout (at the bus station) turn right onto the parallel service road, take the right turn off that and the entrance to the car park is on your left.
MAS, Nerja
Follow the directions for SUPERSOL, Verano Azul but go past the Supersol and turn right at the roundabout MAS is around 1Km down that road on the left (just after the Barco Car Park)
SUPERSOL, Capistrano
Use the directions for SUPERSOL, Nerja but continue on that road through 2 further roundabouts. The Capistrano Supersol is on your left, but you need to go beyond to the next roundabout and come back on your self for the entrance.
EROSKI, Velez
